Drain jetting in Halifax
High-pressure water jetting is one of the methods drainage engineers can use to break up and flush away deposits or obstructions inside suitable drainage pipework. It can be particularly useful where ordinary rodding is not enough.
Jetting is not automatically the right answer for every problem. Access, pipe condition and the cause of the blockage matter, and damaged drainage may need inspection before aggressive cleaning is attempted.
When jetting may help
Jetting can be useful for grease, silt, scale and some stubborn blockages. Where blockages repeatedly return, a CCTV survey can help establish whether roots, cracks, displaced joints or another structural problem is responsible.
